When is there an assessment fee?
There is no charge just to submit a request. If diagnosis is needed, we agree the fee first: standard $39, complex / liquid $60, recovery $65. One initial assessment is credited toward the repair total. If repair is declined or cannot be completed, the agreed assessment remains due.
Shipping and applicable tax are separate. A starting price is not a guaranteed total; parts and added work are approved first. Assessment & repair terms

A board-repair business based in North Houston.
Texas Board Works focuses on microsoldering and motherboard faults in phones, consoles and handheld electronics—not a general screen-swap service. We work directly with device owners and with independent repair shops that need help with board-level jobs.
We serve North Houston by mail, along with customers across the U.S. Local drop-off is available only to separately verified business partners, by appointment. The mailing address is shared after repair acceptance and is not a walk-in location.
